PRIVACY POLICY
From Ground Up is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who engages with our work, particularly the young people at the centre of it. We collect only the personal information necessary to deliver our programmes, respond to enquiries, and develop our mission. This may include names, contact details, and where relevant, school or organisational affiliation.
We will never sell, share, or use your data for purposes beyond what you've consented to. All data is stored securely and in line with UK GDPR requirements. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us directly.
Safeguarding Policy
The wellbeing, dignity, and safety of every young person we work with is non-negotiable. From Ground Up operates a clear safeguarding framework to ensure all participants, particularly those from vulnerable or underserved backgrounds, are protected at every stage of our programmes. All staff, volunteers, and collaborators are subject to appropriate checks and safeguarding training before engaging with participants. Any concern relating to the welfare of a young person will be taken seriously, recorded, and escalated to the relevant statutory authorities without delay. We are committed to creating environments, physical and cultural, where young men feel safe, seen, and supported.
Equal Opportunities Policy
From Ground Up exists precisely because opportunity is not equally distributed. We are committed to ensuring that our programmes, partnerships, and processes are free from discrimination on the grounds of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
We actively seek to include and centre those who have been historically excluded from architecture, design, and the creative industries. Equal opportunity at FGU is not a compliance exercise, it is the foundation of everything we do. We welcome feedback from participants, partners, and the communities we serve to ensure we continue to live up to that commitment.
